Holmes & Yang Spring 2014

Katie Holmes and Jeanne Yang’s Spring 2014 collection was created for an elegant yet adventurous woman who is creating her own path. Elevated wearability was paramount in every piece and can be seen through a combination of classic designs with new textures and lines. The makeup look complements the olive greens, black, cream and navy seen in the collection with a bronzy, smoked out eye, fresh glowing skin, and a nude lip and cheek.

The Lulu Frost Spring 2014 Collection

“Neon Baroque,” the Lulu Frost Spring 2014 collection, was created by taking a punk-like twist on Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette.  The collection is quintessentially Lulu Frost by cleverly combining vintage baroque style with new neons. The makeup look complements the collection with electric color on the lips and cheeks, and a defined but subtle eye.

The Marissa Webb Spring 2014 collection

The Marissa Webb Spring 2014 collection is a beautiful balance of precious meets edgy, and continues to reference the brand’s core ideals of masculine vs. feminine and tailored vs. fluid. The subtle rock n’ roll aesthetic is captured within intense red pieces, which are complemented by flawless, soft, glowing skin. Eyes are clean, slightly defined with eyeliner and black mascara to create an understated, awakened eye. A naturally defined brow gently frames the face, while orange-red lips dominate the look with a matte finish that offsets the collection’s bold hues.  This season, the looks are infused with more of Marissa’s personal style, which exudes confidence and is elegant with an unmistakably cool twist.

Misha Nonoo Spring 2014

For her Spring 2014 collection, CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Misha Nonoo was inspired by the surrealism and freedom present in artist Gerhard Richter’s work, and simultaneously the Royal Air Force uniforms of her native England. With sugary soft pastels in mints, lavenders and yellows, the collection evokes a woman who is a little undone and natural, but strong at the same time. Bobbi Brown created a complementary makeup look that features clean and fresh skin with a nude eye and popsicle stained lip. The emphasis is on the skin, which exudes a youthful and innocent glow.
